can the police keep my car
my friend was stop driving my car. the police said that they were giong to keep my car, there were no drugs in my car on him. but it is a drug case nothing to do with me only my car. please help

The state would have to prove that the car was being used as part of a drug transaction or financed at least in part through drug money. If your friend was using it to obtain drugs, or in some fashion related to drugs, you could have a problem, though once formal forfeiture has started, there is a wasy to claim ignorance as a defense.
