If asked by the law enforcement agency to take the polygraph test, am I required to take it? If I do take it, can it be used against me?

Re: polygraph testing
No, you are no obligated to take a polygraph. If you do, the results cannot be used in court against you unless you sign a consent or stipulation that it be used. However, the state can use it to build a case against you for purposes of filing criminal charges.
