probable cause
complainant made a list of names of people whom he barred from his property. list had same date as the day it was submitted to police officers. a person was arrested and charged with criminal tresspas. the person's name was on this list. complainant offerd only verbal claim that arrested party was previously told to stay off the property. complainant offered no other information, documents etc., to support his claim.
did police officers have probable cause to arrest person for criminal tresspas?

Keep in mind that unless the police have reason to believe this person has misrepresented himself, then no other evidence of this is really required. While I'm uncertain whether the property you speak of is residential or commercial, it seems as if this person may have had a previous complaint which the police may be considering. I think all would do well to stay away from this person's property in the future as the court is likely to issue a stay away order.
