Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
question
cops have my belongings from a drunken fight I got in with a friend. Are they allowed to hold my things if i do not speak w/them. She called the cops at her place while we were fighting and would not let me leave. she was hiting me (we were fighting) so i jumped off her balcony to escape her. the police showed up and now they want to question me, and they took my belongings. I have not spoken with them in 2 weeks. they have not been to my house to question me but have been to my parents houses.
