Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

I have a question regarding a restraining order in Indiana. We are supposed to have a no-contact order and he has contacted me with threats via email, phone, text, twitter, facebook, etc. and he threatened my new boyfriend on several occassions. We let our prosecutor know and filed 3 police reports over the course of a month and nothing has been resolved. I am in fear for the safety of my boyfriend and myself. We kept records by printing off all messages with dates and times and burned the recorded phone calls at like 3 a.m. but the prosecutor never took them. I feel as if my case is never going to be handled. What can I do?

Take the restraining order and your records in to an attorney in your community who can review your enforcement options with you. If the "He" you are talking about is an ex-husband, you may have action you could take in the divorce case itself, but your own attorney can advise you of that.

If you are indigent, your local women's shelter may be able to put you in touch with an attorney who can help you out. Good luck.
