I was recently questioned by a sheriffs detective over a lrage sum of money missing from a customers home in my job i am at up to 8 or 10 different homes a day i went to this one home with a work order and when i got there the customer said he thought he had fixed the problem so i called my office and had the w.o. cancelled and they also talked to the customer i told him i could check it out while i was there and he said ok and then he left to do his work i went to check the area he told me about outside and seen some connections that didn't look good so as i walked back to my vehicle to get a couple of items to change the bad connections his exwife and child came out of the house the son gave me a small screw driver something like you would use for eyeglasses and said it was the key to open his bedroom door they then walked to there vehicle and left so with no one i will not go into someones house it is against company policy so i finished up outsideand left the small screwdriver outside at the bottom of the door and left a couple of minutes after the exwife and child i am now be questioned on a large amount of cash missing from the home and the detective said i was at the top of the list so how should i proceed thanks
