Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
if you receive a plea agreement and it says "60 days in department of corrections, executed".... doesn't that mean you don't have to serve anything? there were only a few hours actually served on the initial arrest before bail was posted... but that word executed makes me think they consider it to be completed

Just the opposite. It means you have to do that time.
