Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Recently it was brought to my attn that on 12/18/2009 there was a CM(Criminal Misdemeanor)
filed against me in a local court. I have no knowledge of this...what is the statute of limitations on such a filing....shouldn't there be a court date? a summons?

Your posting is confusing as you state that you have no knowledge of a court proceeding that you are asking about. Depending on the circumstances, sometimes court dates and criminal summons or warrants are not immediately issued.
