Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

I was recently charged with Intimidation, a class D felony. I spent 11 days in jail and then got bonded. I was accused of "Threatening to hire someone to kill my brother". But the thing is, I never once said that to him or anyone. My brother even told the police and prosecutor that I NEVER said that. Everything I said is saved on myspace and windows live messenger so I have proof that it didnt happen. The state picked up the charges after my brother tried to get the charges dropped. So what are my chances of getting cleared of this charge? I mean if I didnt do what they charged me with, and I have all the proof in the world, then they cant do anything right? My brother even printed out the conversation. And he said he wouldnt testify against me because the police report was completely untrue.

You need a lawyer in your community to represent you. Do not simply rely on your belief that you have "all the proof in the world". Go hire someone now, and if you can't afford it, ask for a public defender.
