Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I recently met a guy through ebay who bought a muzzleloader from me. He asked me to buy some handguns for him, telling me it was perfectly fine to break the weapons down into parts and mailing them. He lives in the country Greece. I live in Indiana. I trusted him and did as he asked, but ATF agents showed up at my door and said it was HIGHLY illegal. I had no idea! I took the word of the guy I sold them to and didnt think to look up the laws except a couple forums. One forum said it was okay to send parts, and the other said it wasnt okay. So I took what the guy said and the forum that said it was okay. Now I dont know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
