requesting polygraph
If I am falsley accused of a crime -can I request that a polygraph test be required of the one accusing me?

There really isn't any way to compel the person making the allegation to take a polygraph. If the allegations are false, it will have to run it's course throught the court. If determined that this person created a false report, he/she may find that they are facing the offense of false reporting. However, through the discovery process your attorney can depose this person under oath which may have positive results for you. You might want to discuss this with counsel.
