Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Am I responsible
I found out today when i received a letter at my work that my husband is writing checks on an account that was before we were married and it does not have my name on the account, never has. I don't know what to do. I am going to pay for it because i don't want to get into trouble, but what if there is more checks that i don't know about. I am freaking out here because i don't want to be in trouble for something i had no clue about nor did. Can they hold me responsible. Thanks for any advice.

Re: Am I responsible
No, you are not responsible, nor will you get in trouble if you don't pay (I wouldn't). It's your husband's problem.
It is unlawful for any creditor of your husband to contact you at work
