Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
My step brother has a warrant for his arrest for assault and battery on his girlfriend. They live together and are planning to get married. They have a 6 year old son. It will be his third offense if convicted. She dropped the charges but the state has picked them up. Should he voluntarily turn himself in? Does she have to testify?

He should hire counsel who can then assess what procedures need to be followed in that jurisdiction. If subpoenaed, she will have to testify.
