Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
I was given a ticket for possession of marijuana under 30 grams, and have to appear in court.
Six or seven years ago I had the same charge, went to court, and they said If I did not get in any further charges for a year I would get in no trouble. I've had a clean record since until now. So my question is... When the judge asks me if I have ever been charged with this before, should I say no? I didn't know if saying yes would mean a worse outcome.
Thank you

You should always be honest with the Court. If you lie, and are caught, the outcome will be worse.
