Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
i have just been told that i have a felony theft charge on my record.. but it was suppost to be dropped to a mist. A when i completed my probation and paid all fines.. i did that over 3 years ago... i have not been able to get a good job because of this and i thought it was a mist. A.. What can i do to get this mistake fixed because i need to move on with my life and get this off my record

Have you affirmatively filed a request for reduction to an A misdemeanor in the court where you were convicted? You need to do that yourself, or with an attorney's aid. Even if the agreement was that this would be done, it still needs to be you affirmatively taking the step to ask for it.
