is she in trouble with the law?
my daughter knocked down some lotion bottles in a tanning salon, the worker said she was going to call the police. i tried to pick them up, but the clerk grabbed my arm and said i'm calling the cops, you're on video

Not from your description. However, if the clerk's description is that your daughter deliberately damaged property in the store, that's another matter.
