who do i turn to when a criminal court has made an error, my appeal deadline has long since passed, and the court is unwilling to coooperate?

Depends on the nature and severity of the error. In most cases, you have no avenue for relief (assuming you are not still in prison as we speak). You need to be more specific about your current situation, and the mistake that you claim was made.
