What type of sentencing can someone receive for first offence of stealing scratch off lottery tickets? There were 300, $1.00 tickets in the pack and the whole pack was stolen. So value is $300. This is the first offence this person has faced while an adult. The person does have a small juvenile record though. What sentencing can they get?

Assuming charged as an A misdemeanor given these amounts, the person could get up to one year in jail (with good time credit six months executed). If you want to have a better idea of what they WILL get, you will need to talk to an attorney familiar with that court and judge.
