Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
what does it mean when the say they will give me 1 year sentence with all but 90 days suspended and that those 90 days would be served in jail with credit for time already served the balance of the sentence would be suspended to informal probation

It means you will do 90 days in jail, subtracting any days you have already served, and the rest will be on probation which does not require regular reporting, apparently. Make sure you talk to your probation officer about what it DOES require.
