Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
Six years ago, I had 2 battery charges brought up against me. I was never arrested, never did any jail time. The 2 charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence.
I have been accepted into an RN school beginning this fall. This showed up on my criminal background check for the school. Can I be denied entrance being that I have NO conviction, arrest, or jail time?
Also, can I hire an attorney to remove this from my record?
Thank you.

Since there was no conviction, there should not be a problem. Arrests can be expunged when there was no conviction, but only in very particular circumstances, and you would need the help of an attorney to get that done.
