I was late to work in a different city and woke up late. I stayed up drinking until 4:30 am the night prior(probably around 9 beers). Woke up at 10:50. I didn't have time to brush my teeth or eat. I got in my car and drove. Was speeding at one point and got pulled over going 74 in a 60. The cop said I was driving fine besides the fact that I was going 74. He told me I smelled like alcohol and my eyes were red so he gave me two field sobriety tests. I passed them. Then he said since my eyes were red he still wanted to give me a breathalyser. I felt fine so I agreed.. I blew .10. He took me to jail and I blew .10 again. I have never had a parking ticket or anything. Never been in trouble. My family as well as friends and managers know I would never drive drunk and always find a ride home.
I am getting an attorney and going to try and fight it. Might you know what will happen?
It was also in Morgan County in Indiana.
I was charged with speeding 74 in a 60, PI, and Operating a vehicle intoxicated.
