Legal Question in Elder Law in Indiana

We are trying to bring our mother with alzheimers home to Indiana. We have Durable POA and Medical POA but mom lives in Louisiana with stepfather...He has now gone to a lawyer and gotten POA over her....which one supersedes the other....He has had her sign everything into his name.
