Cost of guardianship
If I apply for a guardianship for my father, and am granted the guardianship, can I get back my legal cost from his estate?

Yes. After appointment and filing of your inventory or at the time of the first accounting you will be petitioning the Court to approve the attorney fees you paid in advance and at that time the Court will approve the estate paying the fees (or reimbursing you). You are entitled to reimbursement of any advance for court costs and bond fees at the time the inventory is file.
