Nursing Home
My GrandMom is in a nursing home for rehab. She is approaching her 100 day stay that medicare will allow. The facility is telling us that she might have to stay a short while after the 100 days. They want us to apply for medicad and sell every thing. My name is on her home and has been for about 5 yrs. Also my daughter lives in the house to care give to her grandmom my mom. Can they take my mom's home? Thanks, Marcia.

You will need to consult with an Elder attorney because these are very tricky issues and the law is changing as we speak.
