our problem is a death in family of power of attorney. Oldest sister talked parents in late 70s to make her power of attorney. since being made has moved them to her sons house paying rent when they own 3 homes.. has taken all money out of safes empited deposit box and all furniture from homes. locked up on her property. has dad on amitrtptyline at noon and at night. comcreted a 50ft bu ilding that they payed... mom sits in wheel chair in kitchen all day long.. dad sleeps and watches tv.. can anyone help us...she is having them sign all kinds of papers from reports of hired help.. she owns the property so not much we can say..want her to have to show audit of all she is spending and where their stuff is...can anyone help up make her audit..she tells them they have no money and we know they had 125,000.00 cash that she took not counting safes and money around house...he says she can do it . but his mind is very confused...

You need to pursue a guardianship in your local probate court and bring these problems to the Judge's attention. A guardian appointed by the Court will have the authority to look into past dealings by the attorney in fact.
