Do I have any rights to know the medical condition of my 78yr old mother if I am NOT power of attorney? Does the poa have the right to keep information from the siblings? Please help!

If you are not the named health care representative and person named on the proper forms to receive health care information, the health care providers are not obligated to converse with you under Federal Law. If there is a person in the family who IS designated by the proper forms to receive the information, that person doesn't necessarily have to share the information with siblings.
