scheming step mother
my father is wealthy, has dementia, and has a sneaky, money hungry wife with 12 kids. can we, his sons get poa to protect his financial interests without her knowledge? only want to check on things, not take anything. when he was in hospital, she came in with papers, tried to make dad sign, claiming they were poa for medical only. when my brother grabbed them, read about financial as well. if she got poa for financial, could she then clean out all monetary assets of dads?
