Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

If 2 parents get a divorce and the father basically abandons the mother and daughter. Doesnt pay any support(no court order was made for support), does not maintain any sort of contact or any visitation with the daughter for over 6 years would he fall under the child abandonment or neglect laws in Indiana? And can his parental rights be removed?

No, he would fall under the contempt laws. If there is an adoption, his consent would not be needed and his rights terminated as part of the adoption.
