At the time of birth, the father should sign a paternity affidavit. You should download copies of the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines for everyone. Additionally, shortly after birth paternity should be established in court. Paternity, chid custody, visitation and support can be established by agreement. I also suggest that the parents go to WWW.Lakecountykids.org and complete the areas dealing with paternity.
