Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I have a 17 year old niece that was staying with me (I am her aunt) due to her mother and father being divorce and moving out of state, she spent all of last year with me. I was the only one that was providing for her. I was not getting any help from her mother or father. Now her mother wants her to stay with a church member from where we live at and she don't want to. She will be 18 in arpil of this year. I am wanting to see what her rights are. Will she be able to stay with me? remember there are is no helping from either her mother or father. Please advise me on this matter.. Thanks

As a follow up, an emergency guardianship is good for 60 days. By then, she will almost be 18 .
