Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I have an 11 year old son who lives with me and I am looking to relocate to Georgia in August for a job. I know his father will not agree with the move but does my son have a say in it also? He stated he wants to continue to live with me and isn't concerned about not seeing his father on a regular basis. Any help is appreciated.

No, your son does not have any particular control over the situation or official say. If you send the relocation notice required by Indiana law and his father objects to the move, the child's willingness to move is one of many factors the court can consider. Make sure you have taken appropriate steps to try to get to the bottom of why your son seems unconcerned about not seeing his father regularly; this is one of your responsibilities as a custodial parent.
