Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My 18 year old son will be attending college in the fall. In our original divorce decree (Illinois) it states that we will both split the cost of college according to section 513 of the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act. He is also paying $697 a month in child support (an amout that has not been increased since it was set in 1997). What would his obligations be concering child support? Would that amount decrease since he is helping pay for college?

Unless you have both moved from Illinois, that state still has jurisdiction.
