Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My 18 yo stepdaughter just moved out and moved in with her boyfriend. My wifes divorce decree doesnt address this as it was assumed at the time that she would live with us until she finished school. Her biological father wants to terminate her child support as he now considers her emancipated. Can he legally do this?
