Technically and legally, he is not the legal father until paternity is established unless a paternity affidavit was signed. Assuming one was not signed, he has no rights whatsoever until his paternity is established. If a paternity affidavit was signed, youcan seek help through your local prosectuor's IV D program who will optain child support. Usually, the court will address parenting time rights. You can view the Parenting Time Guidelines at the Indiana Judiciary Web Site library.
