Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I have a 5 yr old and and I have primary physical custody. the non custodial parent owes over 5 thousand dollars in child support and I am wanting to Move just an hour away from him. He says if I try to file an intent to move he will try to get custody of her. I would like to know if he can or what the best thing to do is. Im wanting to move to go to college and move in with my fience.

1. Hire an attorney to handle preparation of the notice.

2. Explain all the reasons why the move will be good for your child anf for you.

3. If the move will be good for your child, ignore the threats.

4. Consider strongly whether moving in with the fiancee is the best for your child. Children are better off living with people who have made lifetime commitments.
