My 18 yr old son just found out he is the father of his exgirlfreinds son.What rights does he have as far as his son getting his last name.We live in IN baby was born in KY

He needs to talk to an attorney in Kentucky, as Kentucky law would apply, assuming that the child is still there. Also, your SON should make the inquiry, not you. This will help drive home to him that he has the responsibility now due to his previous decision making.
