16 yr. old ward of the state runaway

I am a resident of Ohio. My younger sibling is a ward of the state of Indiana. Recently runaway from the juvenile detention center there, wants to come stay with me and refuses to return. What is the best course of action here for school, medical, and things of that nature if I allowed it?

You should report his presence with the detention center. If there are no outstanding issues with the detention center and you decide to be his caregiver, you can start by filing a caregiver power of attorney with your local juvenile court.
