abandoment of child
what are my rights or how do i file for abandoment. My son's father has not bothered to see or contact him in the last 1 1/2 years. now he has filed for visitations. please help!!!!

I think I need a bit more information. You say that father has not seen child but that he has now filed for visitation. What has he filed? Unless the visitation would cause physical or emotional harm to the child, the court will allow visitation.
