abandonment

Husband has filed for divorce. Left me with no car or money and will not return calls. Stays at his parents and will not allow me use of the car for any reason. He says this is legal. Car is in his name, but my family made down pymt. Is this right?

No. You need to hire an attorney and ask for a provisional hearing to obtain an order concerning the use or temporary possession of the car.
