Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

At what age can my son choose not to visit his father

My ex-husband has visitations with my son every other weekend. My son will be 16 in January, and there are times he doesn't want to visit with him that weekend. He might have something other he wants to do. His dad is okay with it sometimes. But my question is at what age can my son be able legally to choose if he wants to go or not?

Re: At what age can my son choose not to visit his father

He has no right to chose not to visit his father. In fact if you look at the parenting guidelines, it is your obligation to encourage visitation even if your son does not want to see his father.
