Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Alimony in Indiana
Husband and I have been married 11.5 years- two kids (9 and 10). I worked FT when first married quit when first child was born to be stay at home mother. Worked PT on and off in retail last five years, recently got a FT job making $25k (been there a year). Husband went on to get Masters during marriage going from 50k to about $93k/year plus $30k bonuses each year (total ing $123k) after receiving his MBA. We decided that he would finish his Masters and move up in the company and I would then go to college to get a degree. Planning on joint custody with I having primary placement since he sometimes works long hours and goes on extended business trips. What is the chances of alimony for the three years?

You have a pretty good chance based on the scenario you gave. I have an office in Indianapolis and would welcome the opportunity to help if you are not presently represented by counsel.
