baby abuse
My cousin has a 4 month old baby. Everytime the baby cries she yells at it and smacks it. What is possibility of my mother getting custody and what is the easiest and quickest way of going about it?

Probably the quickest way is to call Child Protective Services. If they see a reason to have the baby removed from the home and placed in foster care, another relative has the best shot at taking custody of the baby.
However, biological dad would have rights superior to any other relative. You didn't mention him and his place in all this.
