Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Based on earlier question concerning Insurance for a 19 year old child from his step father. Child is living at home after an emancipation was filed. He was entering the Navy but was discharged, due to color blindness. He is back at home after the emancipation was filed. I am on disability & am paying my ex-wife $300 towards school & living expenses while he is in college. I'm afraid that she will try to garnish my disability (if I sign another child support agreement & reverse the emancipation) to get more money & then I will not be able to afford to live. I beleive $300 is fair.

Why does a court ordered child support payment from me have anything to do with my son receivng Health insurance from his step dad?

There is no relationship that I know of concerning the insurance and an order for child support.

If you mean that an emancipation REQUEST was filed, and then he was discharged, then you still have a potential support obligation. If you mean that an emancipation ORDER was entered by the court, then you have no ongoing support obligation, as he can not be "unemancipated". As to the rest of it, Mr. Padove is correct.
