Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

my bf is going to divorce court for his final hearing. We thought she got everything she wanted at the 1st hearing. Now she wants her husband to pay her 2000.00 for taxes. Now his wife was on ssi so she didnt pay taxes my bf did for her as he claimed her as a dependent. Does he legally owe her that money?

This question can only be answered after a complete review of the couple's financial information. generally, a court does not make a decison based on just one financial item, but looks at the whole situation before dividing the assets.
