Yes the birth certificate is correct but we were wondering under what circumstances it would be possible to change her actual birth date ( not neccessarily age).

I have never heard of someone changing the date that they were actually born. You will ahve to contact the Department of Vital Statistics in the state where your daughter was born to see if there is sucha procedure available.
