Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My Boyfriend is in the middle of a divorce. He has been staying with me a lot when he has his 3 kids because I have much more room for everyone at my house. He is staying with his brother until he gets his house back at the end of September and things are alway crazy at his brother's because his brother has 4 kids of his own. There is a battle going on between my boyfriend and his ex on who the kids should be with. Would him staying with me have an ill affect on his case?
