Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
My boyfriend has shared custody of his children with his ex wife. In the divorce decree there was no establishment of when each party would have the kids but instead they work it out between themselves. She keeps changing the dates she wants them. He is worried about going back to court and having to pay child support. Should he go back and have the dates established through the court without having to worry about paying child support?

He should go to court if he is unhappy about the uncertainty that you say exists. Make sure that this is a real headache, i.e. changes every week, as opposed to a problem every 90-180 days. He should be paying support if he has the ability to work; that is best for his children.
