Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

can i change lawyers in the middle of a court dispute. trying to modify visitation agreement to supervised visitation. was in an abusive relationship with a drug addict. went to a contested hearing and the judge said no hearing today. go take a urine test now and is going to sign an order for hair follicle tests. said if my allegations are untrue he would hold me in contempt for not letting him see our child the past 8 months, send me to jail and make me pay lawyer fees. paid 1000 to a lawyer who isn't doing anything but collecting the paper work i'm giving him. found out he handles mostly bankrupty. inexperience with using lawyers myself. never been in trouble or been to court before.

Yes, you can change lawyers in the middle assuming that you can find one interested in becoming involved in something that is ongoing. Good luck.
