Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
if a child is born out of wedlock and the parents of child has seperated, and the father has taken full financial obligation. Th parents can not afford an attonery, so have decided to draw up a paper stating they have joint legal custody with child primary residence being with the family since he is the stable parent is this legal?

Pretty much any agreement signed by both parents AND ordered by a court is binding.
