Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

child coustdy

My husband had an affair and it resulted in the birth of a son only days ago. The mother is from a different state, last night she attacked my husband and pulled a knife on him. I got her to calm down and now she is insisting that she go back to south carolina and take the baby with her. we live in indiana, what are my husbands rights? Can she just leave the state with the baby?

Your husband should get a protective order for himself and the child. He also should get a restraining order prventing her from leaving the state.
